All jobs for writing web content (and other writing) is calculated on a per job basis, taking into consideration such things as client interviews, research (subject and SEO), and writing time.

Once the job is completely specified (we agree exactly what's being done) and the price agreed, then that's the price. The price would only change if the job specification changed.

Naturally my estimates are budget-sensitive, so it's best to let me know what sort of budget is available so that I can be realistic in what I can offer.

Web designers: I pay a commission on client referrals that result in a completed and paid job. Or you can white-label me as part of your services.

That's all very well, but how much?

I can only give a rough guide, however a typical 8-10 page brochure-type website would probably come in at £250-£350. A recent job for a more complex site requiring editing and reworking of existing text (20 pages) with new illustrations, was estimated at £735.
