A collection of poems by the Wordsmith

Sea Change

The waves pound and roar at the wind's scream,
And white horses thunder on the pebbly beach.
Foam plays in the air
And lightning gleams over storm-tossed waves.
Heaven explodes in light
Booming in a thousand tongues.

The sky's heavy mantle is gashed
A ruby eye peers through–
Stares with finality before the veil falls
And hell is black again.
