Right and Wrong
One child dies...
In pain and loneliness.
At the hands of those who
Should love.
A single tragedy.
And those who stood
Between her and death.
Are mortified.
Petrified of doing wrong again.
The fear of wrong
Makes us run and hide.
Freezes us into inaction.
But that is worse.
We report on everything
We check out the facts
But there is a simple truth
That lies behind it all.
Despite the Psychiatrists and
Psychologists (who invent
disorders to suit their pockets).
We still cannot tell
Who will do right, and who
will do wrong.
In pain and loneliness.
At the hands of those who
Should love.
A single tragedy.
And those who stood
Between her and death.
Are mortified.
Petrified of doing wrong again.
The fear of wrong
Makes us run and hide.
Freezes us into inaction.
But that is worse.
We report on everything
We check out the facts
But there is a simple truth
That lies behind it all.
Despite the Psychiatrists and
Psychologists (who invent
disorders to suit their pockets).
We still cannot tell
Who will do right, and who
will do wrong.
