Socks in Public

It's despicable, deplorable
Downright disgusting!
It should never be allowed
To show your socks in public.

Never unlace your shoes
Don't let a lady see them
They might smelly and be dirty
With holes to show your toes.

It's disgusting and deplorable
A disgrace to all that's lawful.
To reveal your gartered foot underwear
To persons who are bashful.

So snog if you like and heavy pet,
Pull down those drawers and up that shirt
Strip off your skirt and lower the zip–
Engage in acts that may be seen
By only peeping toms who'll scream.

But never never never
Reveal your socks in public.
