Looters Macabre

What critical pathway
In the psyche of a man
Makes him hold a poison trophy
To deaths of anothers clan?

Authority then offered
Forgiveness for the crimes
And a way to escape vengeance
But some still clung to their slime.

So justice turns its wheels
And the perpetrators cry
For unwholesome trophies torn
From the brave who had to die.
