Trust from others

It is lamentable
That some people find it hard
To be honest.
And those that profess it
Are seldom those that are.

Honesty is a quiet peace
A harmony of the heart
That is not boastful or choppy
But unruffled calm.

And from thence
–To be trusted by others
Is a joy and a blessing
For a trust from others
Builds one's faith.
